The Standard Tour program gives students a general overview of the history of the Hudson River and includes:

– A guided tour of entire museum, including changing exhibits

– Rotating hands-on activities about the History and Science of Sailing in the Kingston Home Port and Education Center, including water table and boat building, sailing and lift, knot-tying, use of a quadrant for navigation, simple machines, and more

– A semaphore flag spelling game where students use semaphore flags to spell words (with assistance from the museum educator) for their peers to guess.

Choose any or all of these activities for $6/person. Each activity is 45-60 minutes long.
