Legends of the Hudson River - October 30 & 31, 2016
The Hudson River Maritime Museum and the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater are hosting a spooky event this Halloween. "Legends of the Hudson River" celebrates the spooky stories - real and fictional - of Hudson River history. Submit your spooky story for our story contest!
ALL WEEKEND - Free admission to the museum with costume! Trick or treating at the gift shop admissions desk. 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday, October 29 through Monday, October 31.

Sunday, October 30th - 1 pm to 6 pm
1:00 PM - ongoing
Children's activities, including ghost bowling, eyeball bounce, ghost drop, monster mask making, and face painting. Prizes for game winners. All activities free, suggested donation $1 per activity. Face painting $5. All proceeds benefit HRMM.
4:00 PM - Spooky storytelling begins in the Kingston Home Port and Education Center, including "Creatures of the Deep" room with "monsters" direct from the Hudson River and a "haunted" Mathilda. May be unsuitable for young children.
Monday, October 31st - 3 pm to 7 pm

Trick or Treating in the Rondout Waterfront District A number of Rondout Waterfront businesses are offering trick or treating during Legends of the Hudson River! Look for a jack o' lantern flyer in the window of each business. All of these locations are within easy walking distance of the Hudson River Maritime Museum. Sunday, October 30
