Event Description: From the Spuyten Duyvil to Lake Tear of the Clouds, the Hudson River has a tale to tell at every turn. Come join us for an evening of legends and lore with renowned master storyteller Jonathan Kruk as he entertains and educates at Hudson River Maritime Museum. Hear the creation myth and learn why the river really flows both ways, discover how the mighty Hudson launched four revolutions, and then be haunted by stories of river ghosts! This program delivers the tales of the Hudson in a way like never before and is perfect for families looking for creepy tales and history buffs alike.

Presenter Bio: Jonathan Kruk, known for solo shows such as “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” takes tales from the Hudson River to schools, libraries and historic sites. He has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, The Today Show, The Travel Channel, the BBC and has eight award-winning recordings and two books on the Hudson River’s legends and lore. Jonathan Kruk knows why they lived happily ever after.
