Online Exhibits

HRMM is pleased to offer a selection of exhibits online. We will be adding more exhibits each year, so check back often for updates!

Tugboats: Workhorses of the Hudson River
The exhibit features an overview of the history of tugboats on the Hudson River, as well as images and descriptions of one hundred years of Hudson River tugboats. These images represent a small fraction of HRMM’s tugboat related collections and the exhibit will be updated occasionally with more content. View the exhibit >>>

The Hudson River Day Line: 1863-1971
This exhibit features an overview of the history of the Hudson River Day Line steamboat company, including photographs, ephemera, and audio from the museum's extensive Donald Ringwald Hudson River Day Line Collection. View the exhibit >>>

Rescuing the River: 50 Years of Environmental Activism on the Hudson
This online exhibit was created as a companion to the physical exhibit of the same name. Tracing the roles of individuals and organizations in the environmental movement in New York State, the exhibit focuses on Scenic Hudson, Clearwater, Riverkeeper (and their predecessor Hudson River Fishermen's Association), and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, from the 1960s to today.
