A Haunted Rondout

A Haunted Rondout: The Dark Side of the Hudson River
The Hudson River Maritime Museum is proud to present new activities for the month of October. The focus of these activities is to offer Halloween fun for all ages. 

Saturday, October 13
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM - Movie Night ​
  • Free viewing of the Disney film Halloweentown
  • Fun for all ages: Guests are encouraged to wear pajamas, and bring blankets to sit on.
  • Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - October Museum Mates: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
  • Geared towards children ages 5 to 12 years old
  • Snacks will be provided
  • Part of HRMM's monthly Museum Mates program

Friday, October 26 & Saturday, October 27
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Haunted Museum Experience
Take a trip through the Haunted Museum! Hudson River spirits have overrun the museum; come to hear their woeful tales. 
  • Walk throughs will be given every half hour beginning at 5:00 PM, with the last tour beginning at 8:30 PM. Each group will consist of 10-15 people depending on demand.
  • Important: This experience will include some jump-scares, graphic story-telling, and creepy props/actors. Please use your own discretion when bringing children.
  • Walk throughs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM will be more appropriate for children ages 8-13 years
  • Preregistration is required - (No walk ins) $15 for children 17 and under & $20 for adults

Sunday, October 28
​4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Haunted Museum Experience
​
Take a trip through the Haunted Museum. Hudson River spirits have overrun the museum and boat; come to hear their woeful tales.
  • Walk throughs will be given every half hour beginning at 4:00 PM, with the last tour beginning at 7:30 PM. Each group will consist of 10-15 people depending on demand.​
  • Important: ​This experience will include some jump-scares, graphic story-telling, and creepy props/actors. Please use your own discretion when bringing children.
  • Walk throughs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM will be more appropriate for children ages 8-13 years
  • Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume!
  • Preregistration is required - (No walk ins) $15 for children 17 and under & $20 for adults

​Refund Policy
If any guest decides to leave the program early, there will be no refund or re-entry.

​The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater will also be offering activities Friday, October 26 and Sunday, October 28. Please visit their website for more information.​
