ABOUT SAM HEWITT
Sam has been at Kingston Wine Company for a little over 2 years now. This is where her wine journey began, and it continues to whisk her away into true depths of knowledge and intention. Sam is currently the buyer for wines of Eastern Europe (pretty much everything east of Germany and Austria), as well as meads, ciders and other fruit wines. One of her main objectives at Kingston Wine is to help everyone feel comfortable with interacting with wine, and open the possibilities of agriculture, economy, hospitality, and connection with people/the environment. |
ABOUT KINGSTON WINE CO.
Kingston Wine Co. focuses on classic, traditionally made wines with little added and little taken away. We place an emphasis on biodynamic, organic, and natural wines. Most of the wines on our shelves are made using time-honored, historically rich techniques, achieving an authentic expression of place, history and culture. We are not dogmatic about one method or path—there are multiple roads to deliciousness, terroir and transparency. We do believe that the 'less is more' approach to winemaking is a better route for our culture, our environment, and our palates. In addition to introducing clients to affordable esoteric wine known little beyond where it is grown, we will also highlight the classics. We also house a curated selection of distilled spirits. |
