Escape Room
&
Scavenger Hunt

Experience the Mystery at HRMM

HRMM is pleased to offer two brand new programs geared toward families and young adults in the spring and summer of 2018. "Escape HRMM: Time Traveling Detectives" features a clue- and puzzle-based mystery for groups of up to 6 people to solve in just 50 minutes. "Scavenger Hunt: Lost Ticket" is geared toward younger children and families and gives groups of up to 8 people just 30 minutes to follow the clues and find all the pieces of their vanished ticket to the Mary Powell.
The museum’s escape room and scavenger hunt room is perfect as a family activity or for friends and couples looking for a thrilling activity!

Escape HRMM: Time Traveling Detectives

You and your team are tasked with protecting historical artifacts from time-traveling thieves. In this case, you have been hired by the Hudson River Maritime Museum to prevent the Time Brothers from traveling back in time to steal the bell of the famous steamboat Mary Powell, thus making it disappear from the museum’s collections! Work as a team to solve the mystery and save the bell for future generations.

Before the Time Brothers can steal the bell you and your team go to the Time Brother’s hideout to stop them. Once arriving, you realize this is a trap set by the Time Brothers to get you and your team out the way. The thieves take your time traveling machine but you do not go down without a fight. After putting up a fight you are able to grab a crucial clue but you and your team are accidentally sent back to Henry Hudson’s ship in 1609. You must now escape Henry Hudson ship in order to stop the Time Brothers from stealing the Mary Powell’s bell.
