MAIDEN ON THE HUDSON

Postponed to Spring / Summer 2021 due to COVID-19

ACCESS, EMPOWERMENT, EDUCATION
Join us to greet the Maiden, its crew, and the fleet of welcoming escort boats. Learn more about their mission, projects, and travels on their website www.themaidenfactor.org.

Flotilla opportunities will be available, the chance to accompany the vessel on its voyage is a unique opportunity to witness the crew in action. The organizer for this initiative is Dale Wolfield, she can be contacted through dwolfield@gmail.com.

Education programs will be free for schools, made possible through sponsorships and donations towards Maiden's visit (transportation excluded).

Public deck tours of Maiden will happen during the time the vessel stays with us. Climb aboard Maiden and ask questions to its crew members, experience some of the magic behind this historic vessel that's traveled around the world multiple times.

Movie screenings of the movie Maiden will happen on several locations in the Hudson Valley. Preliminary scheduling includes locations such as: The Hudson River Maritime Museum, Kingston's YMCA, Upstate Films in Rhineback, the Rosendale Theatre, Story Screen Beacon Theater, and more. The last showing will happen at the Hudson River Maritime Museum and Maiden's crew will be present for a Q&A session.
