Notice to Bidders
TAKE NOTICE, that sealed bids will be received by the Hudson River Maritime Museum in care
of Lisa Cline, Executive Director, on December 20, 2023, at 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston, New
York, 12401 when they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the Riverport Wooden Boat
School Photovoltaic Energy System Project.
Project Description
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified firms with expertise in design and
installation of fully operational photovoltaic energy system to generate the maximum amount
of power for the size of the roof installation for a non-profit institution. The work site is the
Hudson River Maritime Museum on the Rondout Creek in Kingston. The outcome of services
will be a solar array with adequate battery storage on the roof of the Riverport Wooden Boat
School Building (RWBS) on the Museum Campus.
Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Bidders name,
address, and the project name: Riverport Wooden Boat School Photovoltaic Energy System

Hard copies of the project manual and additional information are available for pick up on November 9, 2023, at
the HRMM Office at 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston NY, 12401.
There will be a mandatory walk through of the site on November 20, 2023. Bidders can meet at the RWBS at 10:00 am.
This project is funded in part by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of 1993. The State has established a goal for Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation of 30% Minority and Women-Owned Businesses combined, include at least 13% MBE participation and
17% WBE participation.
The HRMM may reserve the right to reject any and all bids, as well as any incomplete bids.
