Cleared, *** [schooner] George Washington, Preble, Albany. *** July 20, 1807 Albany Gazette (Albany, New York) The SCHOONER ELIZA, Captain Benjamin, A regular Packet from this port to Philadelphia, will sail in four or five days. For freight of passage, apply to the Captain on board, or to the subscribers, at their store in Quay-street. James & Jonas Warren. N.. B. Orders for freight from Philadelphia, will be thankfully received and strictly attended to, Albany, 13th July, 1807. [Editor's Note: Note the ad in col. 5 at the Sign of the Golden Still; also the many ads from merchants selling stuff that must have arrived by sloop and schooner.]
