— The schr. Maria E. Hearn, run into by a sloop in the bay one day last week, is repairing on Ed. Smith's ways. She will need new bowsprit, nightheads, samson-posts and bulwarks, at a cost of about $600. September 14, 1872. Rockland County Journal (Nyack, N. Y.) A week ago last Tuesday, the schooners Joe Nickerson and Ceres collided when opposite Rockland Lake.
